To celebrate their 10th birthday, Grapedistrict organizes the biggest wine bar in the Netherlands, and that is something special! The Hallen studios is transformed in a festival like setting and you can taste more than 150 wines by the glass! If you haven’t had any plans this weekend, you have now;) I made a selection of my top 3 “must taste” wines, to save you from a huge hangover. Or stop by on Saturday for the biggest wine tasting you’ll ever been for only €10,-. Cheers to the weekend!

1. Fougeray de Beauclair Marsannay
France | Bourgogne | 2014 | Chardonnay

I just love, love, love those rich and fatty white wines and this Chardonnay is exactly that. This wine matured on wood for six months and therefor gets a full, silky texture. The rich taste of ripe fruits makes this a lovely round and fat Burgundy! Just how I like them;)

012. Goru el Tinto
Spain | Jumilla | 2014 | Monastrell, Petit Verdot, Syrah

This lovely round blend is simply everything you’re looking for. Some ripe fruits, some chocolate, some flowers and some creaminess, make a perfect red together.

33. La Jara Prosecco Spumante
Italy | Treviso | | Prosecco

Lovely bio(!) Prosecco Spumante in an Italian cutom made suit. This wine is a true charmer but with all the good intentions. Sultry round fruity tones with a very fine soft bubble; a celebration in a glass!
