I like photography… a lot. And since I’m myself not the best photgrapher (I do try my best), I like searching for, stumbling upon and collecting beautiful photos. One of the best places in the Netherlands for getting to see very swell photograpy is the Nederlands Fotomuseum, located in Rotterdam (at one of the most photogenic spots of that city btw…). In the museum you can find work by major figures in photography as well as by young talent and amateurs.
End, how cool, since the end of May you know can go to the new online shop of the museum where you can buy the most beautiful (fibre-based) photo prints and photo books. With 163 archives of photographers the collection of the museum represents an important part of the Dutch photographic history. I got to pick my own photo and chose a picture of a shell from 1922 by Bernard Eilers. Perfect addition to my house! What do you think of it?:
Feel like having your own Nederlands Fotomuseum photo print at your wall? Let me know! I can give away ONE for free (worth €100,-). Send me a reply, Facebook-message or what you prefer best and get your own!
