Last weekend the fourth edition of Unseen photo fair started at the gasworks site of Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam. 54 international galleries showing the best they have to offer and gave you the chance to catch up on photography’s recent developments. Big names, new talents, premiers, awards, book markets, affordable collection pieces and parties made Unseen an event for everyone. Not only the hardcore art lover or collector is welcome at this fair, you could find everyone from local hipsters to museum directors and everything in between at the Westergasfabriek this weekend. And that’s exactly what I love about Unseen; it’s attracting new audiences by making an art event accessible and fun. Also by offering a wide range of spin off events throughout the city. You can still go there till the 27th of September!
